Bye Bye Powershot..Hello Nikon

That's right, I've ordered a dSLR Nikon D50 (w/ 18-55 Nikkor Lens) to replace my Powershot G3. I think I've managed to squeeze every last ounce of quality out of it and even stopped taking photos for a while because I wasn;t satisfied. I should be back in full force and have a lot of interesting photos to share with those who are still on my friends list. Cheers! Hope to hear from everyone soon

Good choice for camera, I just bought one a month ago, I have since bought the 55-200mm lens and it works great. The pictures are amazing and its well worth the money. congratts.

Hey, thanks a lot. I was poking around your gallary (as well as other D50 users) and enjoyed it. I think it will be a huge step up from my Powershot and will undoubtedly produce more stunning results!

Congrats man! Im working on switching to the 5d myself. I love the 20d but its time.

Its good to see your gonna be shootin again tho man... I always liked your eye. whats the F stop on your lense? Did you get a kit?
